muahahaha. im so happy, cuz i bought so many things! (ok its just 4 items, but im still happy!)

one of my colleagues is super nice to me XD. she alr treated me to chicken rice and 2dae almost wanted to treat me to my lunch and buy for me the braclet/baghanger. of cuz i decline lah. but she brought me to shop shop and help me with my shopping spree hehe. she helped my slash the price of the braclet from 15.90 to 12 ( i only managed until 14 -_-), and after bargaining, i bought 2 tees from the same shop for only 12/pc :D suddenly i love blogshops hehe, since the braclet and shirts are from blogshops which set up pushcarts at t3..

of cuz, i got a pair of earrings, at only 5.10 (original 8.95) from mini bits. 40% off for members, plus almost all shops at t3 dun charge gst = less 7%!. the promo is until 31 dec, so i still got time to buy more hehe..

omg i am so tempted to spend $$$$$$. 2dae worked at t3, so there was this xmas bazaar and pushcarts at b2. since im gg back there for work tml, i alr aim for what i wanna buy, and since its last day for the vendors = time to slash price!

my targets for tml:

- this bag hanger cum bracelet @ $15.90 (for the novelty of it XD)

- this damn nice blouse for $15 (but 3 for $36, but i dun need 3 shirts!)

im itching to spend alr XD. post xmas sales are TOO TEMPTING.

working at orchard doesnt help either XD. its sales everywhere!

someone stop me from buying excessively XD. did i mention t3 shops doesnt charge gst? = less 7%. :p

yesterday: went to comfort driving centre(went to the ubi one,so near my hse!) to sign up and enrol for driving lessons alr.. will be taking my BTT in jan and hopefully FTT in feb,so i can chiong practicals in feb,march and april and be legal on the road by april/may.

im heading off for work later.. gonna be alone fronting the place on a saturday night :(. oh wells. at least im getting used to having meals alone.. *hint: i dun mind ppl dropping by just to have meals with me when im at work,u'll really brighten up my day by alot.. :)*

i actually went to bed at 12am. very tired (and my feet have been tortured the whole day) from work. but i cant get to sleep :( only worked for 3 days but i reckon my legs are gonna be super toned after 1mth. im actually enjoying work, although its 8hrs,not-so-fantastic pay and prevents me from going out from 3 gatherings already (excluding gg out with frens). i guess doing sales keeps me happy :) (if it was commission-based i would be happier XD). but i really wanna go out with my dear frens. *p.s. - i do have offdays*

to make myself sleepy, i picked a book off my bookshelf above my head (those who have been around my place shld realised my whole hse is filled with books, even the kitchen has books). i decided to read smth from the Chicken Soup For The Soul, but its part of the teenage series and its bout friendship. i got the book for only around SGD$4 (actual price 19yuan) during my trip to shanghai in sec2 with my fellow schoolmates. i ended up tearing abit cuz some stories,however short, were really touching and somewhat reflective of how i feel now or what i felt before.

my life is pretty mono now. much of my time is spent working (10hrs,including travelling), sleeping (8hrs), stoning/resting/eating (whatever time remains). this ISNT the life i looked forward to after alevels,but i guess its just part and parcel of it. what happened to the "oh i must do this and this and this after exams!" or "remind me to go here and there after alevels!"? then again, i cant figure out another way to spend december. i dun wan to sleep all day at home, large gatherings are only 'once-in-a-while' thing (specifically, 19,21,30dec) but no one is likely gonna ask me go out and hang/shop/play zhun zhun on my offdays. now, even at night, i try and look for someone on msn/fb to talk to to fill the void i feel at night :(

how am i gonna spend my off days :(

yeah. prom was great XD but i think i would rather blog abt what happened to me BEFORE prom. i promise its the most epic pre-prom story EVER.

before we left off from my hse (gladys,ck,yj and sk were at my place preparing), my necklace BROKE and my parents and i were trying hard to fix it.

when we arrived downstairs, a 5 seater taxi (including the driver) arrived instead of the 6/7 seater we had booked. time to squeeze.....

damn, a traffic jam along the express way and newton circus from 630- 720pm?

we got fed up waiting and got off at newton mrt to take mrt down to orchard.

got off the taxi, and *PIAK*, my right shoe strap broke. after abit of whining and stares from the ppl arnd me, *PIAK*, goes the left shoe strap. ( tsk.. dmk..) now im barefooted and have to go to orchard to get my shoes -_-. wore yj's big shoes in the meantime. ppl arnd me probably think im crazy alr, wearing such a nice dress with BIG leather shoes XD

ohno! 730! and im shoeless (so was yj)! and 114's tix were with me! (sry 114 :( ) passed the tix to ck and sk and they helped me passed them to my 114 classmate :)

gladys and i chionged to shoe shops to get a replacement (which wouldnt burn a hole in my pocket and was comfortable and black XD). thanks to RubiCo. @ ion orchard, i got my shoes!

tried to enter marriott as 'glamly' as possible, despite throwing my face at newton and orchard lol.. after all, its Viva La Glam! i do live up to the title of 'suaymagnet' XD

and ohyah hahaha.. i know i looked better than i sound last night XD. *the ppl at my hse said i shld just not open my mouth at all to maintain my image XD*

the past few days were reserved for prom shopping (as well as personal shopping XD). one of my personal aims this prom is to show that there isnt a need to spend so much just to prepare for it and have fun. ( maybe u can describe me as 'cheapskate' XD). the main objective is to look gd, feel gd and have fun -> without overdoing anything.

my spending so far for prom prep:

dress: $18 (yup! and its not a cotton dress mind you. i got it online from a taiwanese webbie, and it includes the postage here. most imptly,it doesnt look like $18 :) since i got other clothes from the same webbie, the 'overheads' are spread XD)

shoes: reusing my sec4 prom shoes XD (i forgot abt those shoes,so i didnt wear them for 2 yrs,but they fit my new dress haha). besides, shoes my size arent easy to find.

clutch: $5. hehe,here's the thing. its fully functional as a clutch,looks like one and its spacious! can put alot of things in there.( camera,handphone,lip gloss,money,cards etc etc.. i tried alr XD). but,its not exactly a clutch haha.. how i got it shall remain a secret.

necklace: $5. got it at cineleisure. and it can still be used after prom :)

hair & makeup: havent decided yet where to get it done.. been window shopping for them since this morning. but im not gonna spend anything more than $50 on it altogether. why should i spend the most thats gonna last the shortest?!? lol..

miscellaneous: TBC. shldnt be gg beyond $10? i mean, things like nail polish wont cost a bomb right (unless u are getting the super high end ones). i've been testing out nail polishes for the past few days. there's this one at the face shop which im aiming for :)

so theoretically, things shldnt be going beyond $100. but taking into consideration taxi fare, post-prom expenses (hehehe..), maybe $150?

and ohyah,maybe my hse will be ending up as the hq for prom prep for the brothers (and sister) and of cuz some other councilors. HX, DONT FORGET THE TICKETS!!! cant wait!

went to help out at the standard chartered marathon 09 yesterday with suankai,yiqian,atiqah and atiqah's sis. but we werent volunteers :p. we got paid $40 for only 4hrs :) what we did was mainly cheering for the ppl running. we reached padang at 515AM and got lost there trying to look for ryann (my fren who told me abt this job and is also the 'helper' there) until 630am XD. but atiqah and her sister were in different team than me,sk and yq, so they ended up at eats coast park, while we were sent to somewhere near medeka bridge(?).

the best part is that we were standing under a ERP gantry that wasnt in operation at that time due to the run. since the runners need to run thru this gantry, there was the very funny uncle while he was running commented loudly 'eh! dont need pay money ah?' as he approached the gantry :D

at 1st,cheering was kinda sian, since there wasnt any mood for me to do so. but as more and more runners ran past, there was this 'spark' that went off in me and made me really want to cheer for them wholeheartedly,and not for the $. in fact, i wanted to cheer beyond the time we were paid to cheer. i realised how much cheering can really help someone press on and continue to push themselves. i smiled and cheered at all those ppl who ran past me, and some acknowledge us with a simple smile or hand gesture or even begin to pick up speed. this raw feeling is hard to describe, but its definitely a feeling i enjoy and want to feel again.

XDXDXD shopping! i have suddenly cultivated a new interest in shopping :D must be due to spening my whole afternoon and evening and part of my night at orchard road :) didnt really buy much, but now im viewing clothes online. now im overly excited over clothes haha (so not me right) :p.

im alr aiming at some of the clothes :D

and i reckon my legs (as well as the gals) are toned XD after walking all over orchard.. now thats one way to keep fit..

got myself a necklace. its quite nice (even my mummy says so :p). but idk if its gd with my prom dress. gonna try it later then. next on my list : shoes and shades XD (and tops,bottoms etc etc etc etc......)

AH I SAW HI-5 AT TAKA JUST NOW!!!! OMG :D (yes,im still a childish hi-5 fan :p). its the real hi5! its the new cast however who was there :(. took some pics of them for memory's sake :) but i didnt take with them lah. my childish side was telling me 'TAKE TAKE TAKE!' since there was no queue there alr (it was a meeting and phototaking session. those queuing were aged 10 and below lols). but after reminding myself im almost as old as the new hi5 cast (and with indirect restrainment from kh and shir) , hence i didnt take the pic with them..

i took my jab this evening cuz i had some breathing problems since young plus my new job involves loads of interaction, so my dad figured it maked sense for me to get the jab. alr less than 1hr after the jab i felt the soreness in my left arm. and after showing some of the guys my arm later, they reckoned my arm was swollen ( sk said my arm muscle was throbbing -_- ). best part, i felt 'hot and cold' when i was in sch for ogl camp just now. didnt feel like doing anything cuz i felt drained alr. if u noticed, i alr exhibited most of the sysmptoms above ( which are suppose to be 'uncommon').

oh yah, btw, for those who dont know, i used to be allergic to egg yolks when i was younger,i havent had a serious relapse in many years, but seeing that ppl allergic to eggs shldnt take the vaccine is abit worrying.. *ps,my doctor did tell me abt the egg thingy b4 she jabbed me*.

exams has officially ended for me. but i dont want it to end. it means many other things are ending/have ended as well.

maybe finding things to do may keep my mind off matters.

i dont want exams to end. no, i've not gone bonkers. but i know once exams officially end,the feeling of emptiness will just flood in. anything sad will just be magnified,since there's nth to do but emo over it.

what if.

sometimes i know the answer,but i still ask hopefully. and i get the expected answer back. mayb i should not ask at all. spare me the sadness.
