after mbts = going out/ staying in for yummy food together with friends! so after being 'unleashed' on wednesday after bio paper, gladys,cheekian,xavier,suankai and i went out for 'celebration'. went to park mall's sakae sushi for dinner buffet. DAMN WORTH IT CAN. we ate all we wanted and we even ordered extra stuff ( like 3 bottles of Yakault to aid digestion o_O) which is not included in the buffet. and it only came up to at most $21/person :) and xavi took alot of very unglam/funny photos.... here are some~

Yesterday was Earth Day, and was also the day the gals came down to my place for steamboat! so we celebrated earth hour by switching off our lights from 830-930pm.. haha, but it was activites as normal during that time. kamhei even shouted out of my living room' window asking people to switch off their lights! zomg. i hope my neightbours dont hate me.. haha..

mbt are coming. im not looking forward to it. it just seems no amount of preparation is enough.
Monday- Econs
Tues- Chemistry
Wednesday- Maths & Biology. o_O

thursday is a break, then friday hafta go back and go for 'postmortem' for econs. ( woah, so fast, u mean most meridians choose to leave their scripts blank so the tutors can mark really fast?)

heard pw results are coming out within the next 2 weeks? praying for the best..

oh gp exam on monday was sheer torture, i mean i took 10mins deciding which essay qn to do, and my points were shaky? and i havent found anyone who did the same qn as me(again o_O).. mayb i shld ask arnd more.

haha, nope i didnt attempt this mbt's equivalent of qn12 of promo's "Why run, when you can walk?" which was "Happiness- perception or reality?".. honestly was tempted to some extent to attempt that qn, together with "There will never be a vibrant arts scene in Singapore. Do you agree?"..

instead i bit the bullet and did... "Do you agree that work-life balance can never be achieved in modern Singapore?" and paper 2 killed me! lyk how do u paraphrase some of the words?!?! ohwells.. gp tutors, please be merciful~ :D

why did alexis grace got voted off american idol yesterday! she was good~ i even downloaded the studio vers of "Jolene",which im addicted to now.. danny gokey was good too, he looked lyk an eskimo though haha.. stuck to country music? i think not :p

:D :D :D yeah, i got my 1st encouragement note for marchblocktest 2dae :D :D and in the form of a post-it note! ( i love postit notes btw~ ) sounds abit o_O that im so high over a post it, but hey, i really appreciate it! thanx alot skjy :)

u dun know how much influence this little post it note has,and i promise to work towards my goal:D ( note that i use 'goal', which is smth achievable, instead of 'dream', which is unlikely to be fufilled.) mayb u'll forget what u said, but i wont. i wont forget my 'bet' too~

yesterday was abit of a tiny emotional rollrcoster? was worried and stuff.. but there is always smth to smile bout at the end of the day. haha. reminds me of sam's very 'cute' drawing! ( hahaha, sam, i saved the pic, it still makes me laugh hahahaha)

yesterday was the ALevels results release. and also our mothertongue results release. i got what i wanted, but some of my friends and classmates didnt, so it wasnt an extremely joyous affair. we had to watch live feeding of the prize presentation in the lts, but it managed to motivate me somehow. strangely, i had the urge to be able to go up and shake ms lai's hand. but to be able to do so, u had to get 3dists for h2s and pass for gp. *lets go fight the battle*

and i think what nina said bout our cl results was right. we shld be grateful to our mjc's cl dept. cuz they really helped us. some other schs didnt really teach their students dring cl lessons, but ours did. analyse the passage, answering and clearing doubts by answering our ever-strange qns due to misconceptions. for that, thank you mjc cl/ language teachers. 谢谢刘老师！i think arnd this time next year, i'll be likely to have a similar post on my alevel results thanking my sts.
